Saturday Night Seder

Ghostlight Records is proud to release two singles from the Saturday Night Seder to benefit Jews for Racial & Economic Justice (JFREJ). The two tracks include the Academy Award-winning track “When You Believe” (from The Prince of Egypt), written by Stephen Schwartz and performed by Shoshana Bean and Cynthia Erivo, as well as an original song “Next Year,” performed by Shaina Taub and Skylar Astin, with music and lyrics by Mark Sonnenblick, Shaina Taub and Benj Pasek, and additional lyrics by Hannah Friedman.

The Saturday Night Seder was a live streamed Passover Seder held on April 11, 2020 hosted by Jason Alexander, providing relief and support to the public in an effort to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The live stream included performances by Shaina Taub, Shoshana Bean, and Cynthia Erivo with guest appearances from Andy Cohen, Debra Messing, Billy Eichner, Tan France, Bette Midler, and more.
